Arts Council of Oak Ridge

The Arts Council of Oak Ridge is conducting a design contest for the 2012 Secret City Festival T-Shirt.
Winning design will receive a $250 cash prize.
The contest is open to anyone who wishes to enter a design.

DETAILS OF THE CONTEST

Contest will begin November 9, 2011, with a January 15, 2012 deadline for submission.
Designs should be submitted to orarts@comcast.net as a pdf (portable document file) no later than January 15, 2012. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR NAME AND CURRENT CONTACT INFORMATION.
Design will be screen printed on a T-shirt, so please remember space allotment.
Design should have the dates June 15 & 16, 2012 and should incorporate Oak Ridge, TN
The Secret City Festival logo will be imprinted on one side of the T-shirt. You may use it as inspiration, but please do not use the logo in your design.
Designs can be up to three (3) colors.

WINNING DESIGN WILL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF THE SECRET CITY FESTIVAL and may be modified as needed for size and color.
Winning design will be determined by a special committee. Designs will be judged on creativity and representation of the Secret City Festival as a diverse community event.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE SECRET CITY FESTIVAL

This is the 10th year for the Secret City Festival.
SCF is a community festival presented by the City of Oak Ridge, Arts Council of Oak Ridge and the Oak Ridge Convention and Visitors Bureau. It is sponsored by many corporations and businesses.
It contains:

- A World War II Reenactment show.
- Free activities for children of all ages.
- A juried art show.
- Arts/crafts
- Historical displays about the history of Oak Ridge as the home of the Manhattan Project.
- Tours of Y-12, ORNL.
- Food vendors
