February 19 - The Oak Ridge Community Orchestra presents Three Russians with a Czech, a salute to three Russian and one Czech composer. The concert will be held at 2:00 pm in the Sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Oak Ridge. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. See them on Facebook!
February 19 - The Children's Museum presents their International Festival at the Children's Museum. The Festival will be from 10 AM to 4 PM and feature Coyote Run, a Celtic rock band. Admission is $11 for adults, $10 for seniors and $9 for children 3-18. Museum members get $1 off the admission price. See website for additional details.

May 7th - Concert by the Oak Ridge Community Orchestra featuring the famous music of five French composers:Bizet, Offenbach, Ravel, Debussy and Fauré.It will be held at 2:00 pm in the Sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Oak Ridge, at the corner of the Oak Ridge Turnpike and LaFayette Drive.Admission is free.But, charitable donations to support the orchestra's routine operating expenses will be appreciated.

June 17 through 18 - Secret City Festival - Bissell Park featuring The Village People in concert June 17th and Ricky Skaggs in concert on June 18th! Plus play with the Oak Ridge Community Orchestra on June 18th at 10 AM - bring your instrument for an open rehersal under the oak trees between the Library and Civic Center!

August 20 - the Oak Ridge Community Orchestra presents a Hayden Trumpet Concerto with TJ Perry. The concert is at 2:00 pm in the Sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Oak Ridge, at the corner of the Oak Ridge Turnpike and LaFayette Drive. Admission is free. But, charitable donations to support the orchestra’s routine operating expenses will be appreciated.

September 17, the Oak Ridge Symphony and Chorus presents Dvorak Symphony no. 7 in D minor - a breakthrough work in relating Eastern European folk idioms to the Symphony World at the Oak Ridge High School Performing Arts Center.

Oct 2, 2011, 4 PM at Pollard Auditorium. Presenting the Tiberius String Quartet from Transylvania, Romania, best know for its performances of classical works by Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, Brahms and Schubert.
October 29: From 9:30-12:30, at the United Way Offices in Oak Ridge, the Tennessee Mountain Writers will present “Humor Writing” led by Judy DiGregorio.

November 5, 8 PM at Pollard Auditorium. Presenting the Lydian String Quartet. Based at Brandeis University in Boston, the Quartet has integrated the rich European and American quartet tradition with early, contemporary and world music.
November 12: Oak Ridge Community Orchestra presents the Favorite American Composers Concert at 2 PM in the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church. Features will be Copland, Custer, Gershwin, Gould, Louden and Sousa. Admission is free but donations are welcome.
November 19: Oak Ridge Community Orchestra presents their next free concert at 2 PM at the First Baptist Church.
November 19: the Oak Ridge Symphony and Chorus presents Reaching Out Through Music featuriung
violin Soloist William Harvey who comes home to America from Afghanistan to perform a concerto by Iranian Composer Behzad Ranjbaran. This is to be held at the Grove Performing Arts Canter at High Places Church.
